LOST HER MARBLE

Case Study for an Unexpected Motion Piece

Experimenting with Double Exposure one day, I decided to dismantle myself in pieces

and animate to see what would happen.

I was very pleased with the end result. Because sometimes my ideas are crazy, this one was called 'Lost her marbles'.

THE IDEA

Saw this photo online and immediately thought how that would be amazing to animate

Then the concept 'Dismantled' came to mind and took a random selfie just to try a double exposure with it.

After looking at the Double Exposure and thinking through, I began to mask separately the shapes in Photoshop.

This is like doing Therapy for me. The process is slow but while doing it, helps me to have more ideas to animate.

This is the part where 'Lost her marble' came to me lol, because one must be crazy to do this just for the fun of it! ; )

FINAL MOTION PIECE

After separating the layers in Photoshop and playing around with After Effects, this is the final result.
